Award winning director Nigel Turner-Carroll has always put an emphasis on creating new Australian work. Some of his credits include Director and Co-Creator of The Tap Pack North American tour and most recently featured on The West End after touring Berlin, Beijing and Edinburgh Fringe festival winning The Spirit of the Fringe Award. Writer and Director of Eireborne with seasons in Zurich and Hamburg and Australia.

Recently Associate Director on the David Walliams book adaptation to the stage The Midnight Gang, and choreographer for the staged version of David Walliams’ book Billionaire Boy. Associate Director on  Wizard of Oz The Arena Experience and Resident Director on Grease the Arena Experience. He has also worked as Movement/Assistant Director on Melba the Musical, Assistant Director Funny Girl for Sydney Symphony Orchestra,

Nigel has also Directed and Co-Written production shows and cabarets, among them are Damn Good Divas Australian Tour,  Mo Award winner for Best Production Show and nominated for Best Tribute Show at the ACE Awards. The Box Show for Junkyard Beats which won Critics Pick at Sydney Fringe and will tour China later this year.  Gone Too Soon, as well as the all female drum sensation DrummerQueens. He has Directed and Co-Written multiple cabarets including Olympic gold medallist Matthew Mitcham’s cabaret, Twists and Turns Winner-Best Cabaret and nominated Critics Choice Award Perth Fringe World, as well as his second show Under the Covers. Back to Bacharach, Starring Casey Donovan, Liza Meets Bassey and The Real Thing both for Monique Montez.

Also staging pre-show and half time entertainment segments at the NRL Grand Final 2014, World Cup Cricket pre game 2015 and Carols in the Domain 2018/2020.

Nigel is a graduate of the N.I.D.A acting degree. Plays he has appeared in include Skylight, Step, The Birthday Boys, Thank you For Being a Friend, Hot Shoe Shuffle, Leader of the Pack, Saturday Night Fever, West Side Story. He was nominated in 2012 and 2013 Sydney Theatre Awards for The Greening of Grace and The Motherfu#$er With the Hat and recipient of  Glug Award 2013. Screen credits include: Bootmen, Wonderland, Doctor Doctor, Wakefield.
